Classes & Intensives
Technique Classes
Vōx Dance Collective offers open level contemporary modern technique classes on a rolling schedule. These classes are geared towards dancers with some training and experience, although we are always happy to meet you wherever you are in your dance journey.
Classes follow a fairly traditional structure: starting with warm-up, moving across the floor, and finishing with center phrase work. Each instructor brings their own style and interpretation to the movement, but every class is warm and welcoming. We want to provide movement opportunities for dancers that have graduated from the typical studio setting, but are still looking to grow and move in organic yet challenging classes.

Intensives
Vōx Dance Collective strives to challenge local adult dancers by offering varied movement workshops. Intensives are primarily for dancers who have had training, but no longer dance as much as they used to, are looking at getting back into dancing, or are looking for something more challenging than "Mommy and Me" classes. The classes and workshops in these intensives are not introductory-level classes, but instructors are incredibly skilled at accommodating their practice so it is accessible for all participants. Vōx proudly showcases the talent in their company by inviting members to teach technique classes, and collaborates with movement experts outside of the company to create and provide a dynamic experience for dancers.
Intensives usually take place in a span of 3 days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) in an attempt to work around people’s busy lives and work schedules. Additionally, Vōx Dance Collective gives participants a myriad options for how to attend and pay, therefore lessening the many obstacles that often come with participating in dance intensives.
