Filament
Filament is a collaborative choreographic work that dives into the human experience as we feel it today. There is fear that leads to aggression, as a result of our frustration with our own vulnerabilities. This inner conflict gives way to terror, then sadness creeps in when the anger has been exhausted. Surrounded by our sorrows, we feel trapped in an inescapable loneliness. But we forget there is peace to be found here, and hope to inspire perseverance. Audience members were invited to witness the full spectrum of emotions that are a significant part of our shared humanity. This performance premiered as a part of the 2023 Omaha Fringe Festival.
